Wild Tales of the High Tang

“When Gaozu raised his army in Taiyuan, Li Jiancheng and Taizong each led an army. Later, as crown prince, Jiancheng appointed officials such as Wang Gui and Wei Zheng, who would go on to become celebrated ministers and help create the Zhenguan reign. This shows that Li Jiancheng was also a man of talent and intelligence.”, Chen Yinke

Returning to the Xuanwu Gate era, what kind of golden age might Li Jiancheng and Li Shimin have built together as devoted brothers, if the coup that changed the political landscape of the Tang Dynasty had never happened? This novel takes liberties with history and is full of outrageous claims. Any resemblance is purely a meeting of minds.
