Xu Yi and Jiang Shu were two people who had no reason to cross paths, until their homeroom teacher’s brilliant idea seated them together. Jiang Shu was a top student and a little “ray of sunshine”; she was a student who made progress by basking in his light.
One day, he fell asleep with his head on the desk. She bent down slightly and looked at his face. He looked so peaceful and beautiful. Jiang Shu opened his eyes, meeting Xu Yi’s starry gaze. Smiling at her, he said, “I still like you best when you’re smiling.”
