Love Comes Late, Captain, Don’t Flirt With Me

[Secret crush turns to love, adorable-pet veterinarian × commercial airline captain, one-on-one romance, both leads are each other’s first and only]

At eighteen, Zhong Xiwen fell for her brother’s friend, pilot Gu Yunshen, and secretly loved him for six years. When she finally confessed, he broke her heart by turning her down.

To make Zhong Xiwen give up, Gu Yunshen requested a transfer to the company headquarters for further training. They were apart for years.

When they meet again,

Zhong Xiwen has become a skilled veterinarian specializing in pets,

while Gu Yunshen has become a celebrated commercial airline captain.

She thinks he still wants nothing to do with her, just as he did back then.

He thinks she still remembers the failed confession from their childhood.

Love is reaching out to touch someone, then pulling your hand back.
