This is one of the best immortality novels I have ever read.
It describes the mentality of a person with invincible immortality, who is indifferent to everything (no time, no space, no race, no national boundaries, and may not even have emotions.)
In order to maintain his own humanity, he adopted a pair of children and started living as a daddy. The author uses this pair of children to give the protagonist and readers time, space, race, national boundaries, and emotions. (There are some cool things about Wudi Wen, some cool bits about Dad, and some cool bits about national sentiments)
