I was born with a body made for bearing children, while my sister was born with an irresistible allure.
To curry favor with the Dragon Clan, my sister and I were both sent there to marry.
She married Xuan Ye, the Dragon Clan's eldest prince, while I married the second prince, Xuan You.
But because my sister could not conceive, the eldest prince tormented her day after day. He slashed her face himself, then threw her into the Ten-Thousand Snake Pit, where she died a horrible death.
Xuan You lusted after my sister's beauty. When he could not have her, he drove a sword through my chest.
As I lay dying, he lifted the dragon child I had given birth to above his head and cruelly smashed it to death before my eyes.
When we opened our eyes again, my sister and I were back on the day we were to leave for the Dragon Clan.
My sister climbed into my bridal sedan first and smiled. “Little sister, let's switch places this time.”
