In his previous life, Chu Yuchen, the Zhendan Empire’s chief instructor and pillar of the dynasty, was betrayed and framed by his own aristocratic disciples. Reborn 500 years later in the body of a successor known as a hopelessly incompetent instructor, he finds himself, from the start, facing a dire predicament: framed by nobles and on the verge of being thrown into prison.
The Demon Gods are now invading outright, and the empire is on the brink of collapse. Faced with enemies within and without, an ordinary person might see this as the end.
But who am I? I’m the legendary instructor who single-handedly changed the balance of power in warfare.
I’ll never again put any faith in the cold-blooded elite. In this life, I’ll choose my own students.
And so, the story gradually takes a new turn.
A hundred years later, during the Zhendan military parade, the announcer declares:
“Here comes the Imperial Guard of the Martial Arts Division, known as the Void Shatterers. Their current record: wiping out the Demon Gods’ First Legion as an organized force, the Fangs of the Void...”
“Oh, right. These Imperial Guards were all trained by Instructor Chu Yuchen.”
A leader backstage shouts, “Stop calling him Instructor Chu! Call him Emperor Chu!”
