Chronicles of the White Rainbow

The greatest heroes fight for their country and its people; lesser heroes fight for their neighbors and friends.

More than a decade ago, the northern tribes invaded the Central Plains, forcing the people to flee south in panic. More than a decade later, Hengshan disciple Mo Yushu travels to the capital in search of her missing master. Little does she know that everything is part of a game planned by various powers, and she is merely a pawn.

In these turbulent times, from princes and generals to peddlers and laborers, countless people struggle to make their way through the chaos, even if they seem like insignificant crows or egrets in the eyes of others. Together, they bring every facet of human life to the stage.

Again and again, the chivalry and ideals Mo Yushu holds onto are battered by the brutal reality of the power struggles she is drawn into. Forced to make difficult choices time after time, she watches her battered ideals finally shatter completely against reality.
