Miss Snail and Mr. Sunshine

[One-on-one, both leads’ first love, sweet romance, a light groveling arc, mutual devotion, reunion after years apart, face-slapping the rival]

Song Dou is an ordinary girl, with ordinary looks, an ordinary family background, and ordinary grades. The most astonishing, and embarrassing, thing she has ever done was fall for the school genius Jiang Jingtong in high school. Jiang Jingtong had the beautiful white swan Guan Rong by his side, while she was just a snail hiding in her shell.

Jiang Jingtong fell in love with Song Dou at first sight, but she kept herself tucked away behind a hard shell. He had to hit her with a ball twice just to get a chance to talk to her. Just as he felt he was slowly making his way into her heart, a misunderstanding drove them farther and farther apart.

Years later, they meet again at a class reunion. Tipsy and bleary-eyed, she asks, “Want to date?” His heart leaps with joy, and he agrees at once.
