The torrential rain poured down over Jiangcheng in straight, column-like sheets. Rain, flames, and thunder joined the heavens to the earth.
Rain drenched the towering steel-and-concrete buildings, pattering against the eaves along the streets.
From the upper floors and tiled rooftops, gathered rainwater streamed in rivulets and sheets into the nearby drains.
The rain poured relentlessly, running wild as all of Jiangcheng played out a symphony of rain.
