Sports Law of the People's Republic of China (Latest Revised Version)

In order to strengthen the publicity of the rule of law, quickly popularize legal knowledge, and serve the construction of my country's democracy and legal system, over the years, China Democracy and Legal Press has published a series of legal separate editions in all varieties and on a large scale in accordance with the laws passed and revised by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on a regular basis every year. This revised draft of the Sports Law has 11 chapters, increasing the current law's 54 articles to 109. The legislative purpose of "promoting the construction of a strong sports country and a healthy China" was added, and the sports work policy of "based on national fitness" was clarified. According to the changes in the main contradictions in our society in the new era, it emphasizes the promotion of balanced and full development of sports, and adds the provision that "the state supports the development of sports in old revolutionary base areas, ethnic minority areas, border areas, and economically underdeveloped areas."
