Noise Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China

In order to strengthen the publicity of the legal system, quickly popularize legal knowledge, and serve the construction of my country's democratic and legal system, China Democracy and Legal Press has published a series of legal separate editions in all varieties and on a large scale in accordance with the laws that are reviewed and approved and revised by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress every year. This law is enacted in order to prevent and control noise pollution, protect public health, protect and improve the living environment, maintain social harmony, promote the construction of ecological civilization, and promote sustainable economic and social development. It aims to speed up the resolution of outstanding noise problems that concern the people, classify various types of noise pollution, and target the prevention and control of noise pollution in social life, which is conducive to consolidating corporate responsibilities, strengthening government supervision, strengthening information disclosure, and strengthening public participation.
