[New writer here, feedback welcome]
[Based on a true story]
“First love, old flame, or new love: which one will be your lifelong partner?”
When it comes to love, I've always thought I understood it better than most. I was confident that every woman in the world should revolve around me. But the truth was, I failed to cherish the women who did revolve around me, causing them endless pain.
If you've ever had a childish, naive view of love like Lu Yi'ang, learned to turn back from the brink like Li Xiaoqian, or understood that loving yourself matters more than anything in the world like Yang Yi'ya, or if you were once one of countless “Liu Ziyus,” then today, be true to yourself. Be someone the world can embrace, and someone who can embrace the world.
As I write this, I regret my ignorance and the lasting pain I caused Liu Ziyu. I also hate myself for leaving myself no room to turn back.
A sincere word of advice to everyone who has read this far: never be a “Lu Yi'ang”! Cherish the rare opportunities life gives you, and treat everyone fate places by your side with kindness!
[My writing leaves much to be desired, but I clumsily put my wretched life into words.]
[I believe every boy has been a Lu Yi'ang, and every girl has been a Liu Ziyu.]
[May there never be another Lu Yi'ang in this world, and may it be filled with Liu Ziyus.]
It is worth appreciating, it vividly shows the frivolity of men and women in this era about feelings, and it also perfectly explains that there are no rules in love. If love is a superstition about the right time and place, then harmony is the best nutrient in love. If we are lucky enough to meet someone who is not related by blood but treats us well, we must not break his heart. Even if we have to leave, we must be decent. We always think that love is something with rules and regulations, but in fact it is just a fool willing to be good to another fool, but the fool failed to cherish it, causing the originally brave and fearless warrior to lose the ability and courage to love.
