Imperial Consort X Powerful Minister
Xiao Zhen became a sacrificial pawn in a political struggle, serving as a noble consort in Emperor Qing’s harem.
Her father had thrown his support behind the crown prince. After the prince fell from power, she became spoils of war and was taken into the household of the Prince of Qin, who was then the second prince. Later, the former crown prince was exiled, and the Prince of Qin ascended the throne as Emperor Qing, making her a noble consort.
The empress died in childbirth, and Emperor Qing had Xiao Zhen raise her child. She thought this was how her life would go: keeping watch over the palace walls on all four sides and the baby in its swaddling clothes, waiting for him to grow up and for herself to grow old.
But then, an accident struck, and Emperor Qing died. Li Chengze, the former crown prince who had been far away in the north, came back with a vengeance.
Both are virgins, one-on-one romance.
After thinking it over for several days, I decided it was worth explaining this upfront. The inspiration for this book came from a line on Douyin, roughly meaning: “I want to read a pairing of Little Fan and the melon-eating Sixth Prince, or a pampered consort and a powerful minister.”
That’s why there are so many familiar names in the story, though as I kept writing, it drifted away from the original idea.
This is a love story that is full of affection and comes naturally. The language and words have the feeling of a long and steady flow, but it tells a vigorous love story. There are no misunderstandings, no rotten love blossoms and endless old scores. There are two people who cherish and protect each other. In summary, it is very beautiful and highly recommended!!!!!
Damn, it's really well written 🤭🤭
