When Li Xiangyi was on the brink of death in the East Sea, he saw the victorious look on Di Feisheng's face. Perhaps it was the poison in his body acting up, or perhaps it was a strange thought born of his impending death, but he kissed him. He thought, this way, Di Feisheng would spend the rest of his life wondering what I meant by that.
Heh. But he would never find out. And so Li Xiangyi closed his eyes in peace and let himself sink into the East Sea.
But then Li Xiangyi found himself opening his eyes again, only to see the last person he wanted to see at that moment: Di Feisheng.
Di Feisheng: Care to explain?
Li Xiangyi: I have no excuse, and no nerve to explain.
Afterward, the two uncover oddities in the battle at the East Sea and disappear into the martial world together to seek the truth. But they discover that this world is far from as peaceful as it appears. Beneath the surface, undercurrents swirl, and people are impossible to read.
