Xu Yanxi is a rebellious, headstrong girl, while Su Yichen is a cool, aloof top student who's just transferred to her school. They're drawn to each other from the start, but neither of them realizes it. Once they understand their feelings, the fearless Xu Yanxi declares her love. Su Yichen turns her down for personal reasons, then heads to a bar with his friends to drink himself into a stupor. By chance, Xu Yanxi discovers why he rejected her and confesses to him twice more. The last time, he accepts her confession and they start dating. Not long afterward, Su Yichen is forced to go abroad. He disappears without a trace before he can say goodbye. Xu Yanxi searches for him for a long time with no luck, then throws herself into her career.
Later, Su Yichen returns and tries to win her back. After they get back together, his assistant tells Xu Yanxi what he's been through over the years, and she feels heartbroken for him. From then on, the two of them live happily together.
