Honghuang: I, Tongtian, Will Reenact the Investiture of the Gods

In his previous life, the Jie Sect was defeated in the Investiture of the Gods War, and its disciples were almost entirely wiped out.

Hongjun confined Tongtian to the Purple Cloud Palace.

His disciples all met tragic ends. Some had their souls inscribed on the Investiture of the Gods, some died and vanished, and some were taken by the Western Teachings and forcibly converted into mounts. In the end, apart from Tongtian, the Jie Sect was left with only Wudang Holy Mother and a few hundred rogue immortals. Its final days were truly bleak.

Sect Master Tongtian was left all alone, until the final immeasurable calamity in the Primordial World came to an end.

Fortunately, he had not died and vanished. Instead, he was given a glorious chance to be reborn.

In this life, Tongtian not only avenged himself and changed his own fate and that of the Jie Sect, but also reached the legendary supreme realm.

Tongtian: “Heavenly Dao, Hongjun, Yuanshi Tianzun, Taishang Laozi, Jieyin, Zhunti, you made me suffer so terribly in my previous life. This time, I’ll collect some interest.”

Heavenly Dao: “No! Impossible! How could Tongtian have such power?!”

Hongjun: “Tongtian, for the sake of our former master-disciple relationship, could you spare me?”

Taishang Laozi: “Third Brother? Have you really forgotten the bond we once shared?”

Jieyin and Zhunti: “Tongtian, spare the two of us, your senior brothers. We’ll serve you as oxen and horses!”

Yuanshi Tianzun: “Tongtian, your elder brother regrets the decision he made back then. I beg you to forgive me.”

Tongtian: “Spare you? Never!”
