They met as children and married young. He promised her they would be each other’s one and only for a lifetime.
When they first met, he was aloof and noble, while she was elegant and poised.
When they met again, he was still cold, but somehow he found his way into her heart.
He lost both parents as a child, and she lost hers in the prime of her life.
This is a sweet romance, not an angst-filled one. It mainly follows the heroine’s growth.
(Bonus scene)
“A Yu, be good. Drink your medicine, okay?”
“I won’t. It’s so bitter.”
“Then what should we do? How about I feed it to you myself?”
“I…” Before she could finish, he silenced her with a kiss.
(A new novel. The writing isn’t especially polished.)
The content of this book is wonderful and has an ancient style. The only shortcoming is that some parts are too modern and the content has some shortcomings. I hope the author can improve it.
