Lin Gougou, an unsuccessful author who specializes in writing melodramatic tragedy romances, one day finds that the NPC who was just supposed to be a prop in her story has run off. So she is forced into her own novel as a supporting character. She can only return home after helping her stingy, germaphobic, impossibly demanding boss find the person fate has chosen for him.
