Malice

I always thought I was the heroine.

But my best friend set me up.

I agreed to play a murder mystery game with her.

The role we'd agreed on was the heroine.

But when I arrived in the book, I discovered the truth.

I wasn't the heroine at all. I was the unlucky supporting female character.

She trapped me inside the book.

I wanted to get out, but it was already too late.

She said that once the contract was sealed, I couldn't leave without completing the mission.

And that wasn't all. Just as I was following the original plot,

She changed the supporting character she'd already rewritten into a cannon-fodder character who would be killed off after a single episode.

This... was clearly an attempt to kill me.

How can I fight back?
