Repayment, Day and Night

[A cool, aloof, secretly passionate beauty on a lofty pedestal × a bright, free-spirited, fallen wild rose]

Sheng Xing Shuang pursued Lin Qianzhi for ten years, even going so far as to have plastic surgery and change her name for him. She gave up all her self-respect and became a laughingstock. But Lin Qianzhi's heart had always belonged to his beloved, Yan Xingshuang, who died seven years ago.

He shamelessly squandered her devotion, taking her for a replacement and never cherishing her. Then one day, she returned to China and became a shadow at his cousin Jiang Yizhou's side.

Unwilling to accept it, Lin Qianzhi chased her back to China and taunted him arrogantly: “Second Brother, did you know she pursued me for ten years? You're nothing but my replacement.”

Protective of her husband, she shot back: “Fourth Brother, have you considered that maybe you're the one who's actually a replacement?”

Pale moonlight scattered over the snow. Yan Xingshuang looked up at Jiang Yizhou. “Why? We did nothing wrong, yet we have to spend seven years making it up to each other...”

Jiang Yizhou pulled her into his arms, his voice gentler and more tender than ever: “A Shuang, day follows night. We can spend the rest of our lives making it up to each other.”
