[Post-apocalyptic wasteland + development + farming + ensemble cast + natural disasters + no romance]
In Year 119 of the New Era, after enduring an apocalypse, a mass extinction, the expansion of their planet, and the evolution of species, humanity finally begins to stabilize on this world, which has long since ceased to resemble its former self.
I, Guan Xixi, was a university student living on Blue Star in the twenty-first century. I never dreamed that I’d be hit by a runaway electric scooter just for stepping out to buy groceries. Yes, an electric scooter. It sent me straight into this post-apocalyptic era on Blue Star, a world of radiation, hunger, and all kinds of dangers and extraordinary abilities, where I started over from scratch.
And my fresh start was in an orphanage, a place terribly unfriendly to someone as socially anxious as me. Just to survive and grow up, I was forced to become a split personality who switches between being socially anxious and a total drama queen at the drop of a hat.
After finally making it to eighteen, I decided without hesitation to answer the base’s call and go develop new territory, hoping to escape the crowds and live a quiet life where I wouldn’t have to meet people or get involved in trouble.
Who could’ve guessed that instead of venturing into the wilderness alone as I’d imagined, I’d form a “weak” four-person team from the start? At least three teammates are sensible and know their limits, capable but quiet, and a well-behaved little kid who’s impossible not to love.
Well, being with a group like this isn’t so bad. They can help me build the ideal haven I’ve always dreamed of.
But how did this happen? All I wanted was to get away from people and find somewhere to live. How did we solve the food shortage as we built? And then the safety problem? Somehow, we even fixed the radiation in the residential area.
Sigh, fine. I never set out to save the world. I just love doing research.
It's good to read, the first few chapters are relatively dull, but the further you go, the better it gets. Come on, it's not enough!!!
