Can’t Be Helped, the Actress Queen Just Loves Me

Rebirth and a Parallel World

A wild rose of the entertainment industry and a drama-loving little green tea

One is an award-winning actress who fought her way through the entertainment industry. The other is a famous actor who seems tough and unyielding, but is actually a little green tea behind the scenes. Before Zhao Liying got together with Lin Gengxin, she read fans’ comments online calling him reliable and figured he must be the kind of man who made you feel safe. Once she got to know him, though, she discovered he wasn’t some big bad wolf at all. He was a little golden retriever, and a shamelessly scheming one at that.

Before they made their relationship official, Zhao Liying posted to promote her new drama: “XXX, I look forward to working with you!” Later, people dug up a post from Lin Gengxin’s secret account from that very same day: “Looking forward to working with you~” He even attached a sarcastic meme. After they went public, fans assumed they must have gotten together because their feelings were mutual. Then Lin Gengxin posted: “Please don’t criticize Liying. If you have to blame someone, blame me. I was the one who wouldn’t leave her alone.” The fans were baffled. Who was criticizing them in the first place? Did he have to be so dramatic?

A quick note: This is fan fiction. Some scenes are inspired by other works, while others are my own ideas. If you’re wondering why it’s fan fiction, it’s because I can only find inspiration by imagining the two of them together! If you don’t like it, feel free to leave, but please don’t insult me. I’m very sensitive, and if you do, I’ll get upset and delete your comment!

(This book is entirely fictional. It only borrows the real people’s names; the plot is made up and has nothing to do with them. This is not official fan fiction!)
