A Hint of Warmth in Autumn’s Chill

On a moonless, windy night made for murder, in a deserted forest where bodies are hidden, a lone man and woman walk the road to the underworld. This is a sweet little romance.

Strange things happen every year, but the year she turned eighteen was especially full of them.

She got into a car accident by mistake. She was unconscious for two days but had no external injuries. When she woke, neither of her parents was by her bedside, but an enthusiastic salesman was there.

Then she accidentally fell into a black hole, where she found a handsome boy covered in wounds. His eyes were still closed, yet he could find her with perfect accuracy and cling to her...

How terrifying! Help! How can she escape being watched?

Wait, why does her watcher seem more like a robot dedicated to serving her? When she checks in, he carries her luggage. When she's hungry, he gets her food. When she's thirsty, he makes tea. When she wants fruit, he scurries up a tree...

But is this world still the same one she used to know?
