Too Much of a Good Thing

[Two male leads + shou protagonist + two powerful leads + descent into darkness + coercion + confinement + multiple love interests pursuing the shou + fast-paced] [An initially obedient, later brooding and volatile gong x a self-important transmigrated wandering cultivator shou] What could make someone change overnight? Le Yin knows his cultivation partner is a sweet, innocent good kid who treats everything with kindness. Under Le Yin's protection, he doesn't have to worry about anything in the world. Le Yin often finds this troubling. Le Yin: "Xiao Chen, how did you do with the sword forms I had you practice yesterday?" Le Yin: "Xiao Chen, you have to be ruthless with your enemies. Otherwise, they'll only bully you for being weak." Le Yin is happy to protect Qu Chen for the rest of his life, but even as he lay dying, he still felt he'd spoiled Qu Chen too much. What if Qu Chen got bullied after he was gone? So, before his consciousness faded away completely, Le Yin silently made a wish for Qu Chen to grow stronger and more assertive. But... it seems this wish made Qu Chen overcorrect a little? When Le Yin opens his eyes again, Qu Chen's evil reputation has spread throughout the world. And Qu Chen, whose name makes people tremble, is now staring at him intently, eyes full of extreme obsession. "Senior, was it fun deceiving me?" Le Yin: "..." Le Yin: "Xiao Chen, what do people mean when they say you're bloodthirsty and have killed countless people?" Qu Chen curls his lips into a smile and silently locks Le Yin's hands in place. "Don't pay them any mind."
