My General, Don’t Be So Cold

If you’re interested, everyone, feel free to check out my new book:

[Palace intrigue + fictional setting + initially weak heroine who grows strong + cold-faced general who acts smug and is a jerk]

A fleeting dream of life, sorrow beyond words; do you know, my lord, the hatred in my heart?

The heroine, Lin Wanzhao, starts out as a carefree young lady from a powerful family. But after meeting Mu Luochen, everything changes.

She battles her way forward and grows stronger, but after a sudden upheaval, her nature changes dramatically and she rises to success as a formidable woman.

Lin Wanzhao eventually becomes independent, brave, and resourceful. She no longer needs to rely on anyone.

“Mu Luochen, I’m sorry. I don’t love you anymore!”

That night, Lin Wanzhao left him, even though she had once said she would love him for the rest of her life.

In the Northern Wing Kingdom, peaceful and harmonious on the surface but fraught with hidden dangers, Mu Luochen, son of the reigning general, returns victorious from battle and joins forces with the new emperor to expose the nation’s corrupt officials.

The male lead is introduced as Young General Mu, but his true identity conceals a secret.

“I thought I could protect her. I was wrong. If I could, I’d rather never have met her!”
