Yuan Chonghuan

Six years later, when the Jin Dynasty (Qing Dynasty) attacked Ningyuan, he deployed a battle defense and shot Nurhachi to death. In the seventh year, Huang Taiji led his army to attack Jinzhou and Ningyuan, but was defeated by him. Later, he was excluded by Wei Zhongxian and resigned. After Chongzhen ascended the throne, he was appointed Minister of War and Supervisor of Ji Liao. In the second year of Chongzhen's reign, the Jin army detoured from Gubeikou to the Great Wall and besieged Beijing. He led his troops thousands of miles to rescue him, but later Jin used counterintuitive tactics. Chongzhen mistakenly believed that he had a secret agreement to collaborate with the enemy, so he was arrested and imprisoned. He was impeached by Wei Zhi Zhongxian's remnant party and was executed.
