While sorting through old belongings, the heroine discovers an ancient diary that mentions a sealed fox husband. Though she knows his true identity, she finds herself gradually falling in love with him. Their forbidden love leaves her torn and anguished, but she cannot resist her feelings. At the final moment, the fox husband repents, spares her, and sacrifices himself to lift the curse on her family. The heroine starts a new life, but still misses him.
