Honkai: Star Rail: The Mourner's Journey Home

[Sushang is the sole female lead] + [Some settings and plot points for Sushang are borrowed from Divine Dagger Records] [The male lead is immortal]

(A disclaimer first: This is a new book written for my own enjoyment, and I know it feels pretty awkward, but I had a blast writing it. Think carefully before opening it, because it really might make your toes curl.)

“I will set out on the journey home, but in the end, I will still be buried here.” One day, the funeral parlor suddenly closed, leaving behind only this note.

Mo Xia has lived through countless ages. As the first funeral officiant in recorded interstellar history, he has earned mixed opinions across the galaxy. Some say he is a bringer of disaster, death, and endings. Others call him a guide who brings rest to those who died unjustly.

After disappearing for nearly an Amber Era, Mo Xia follows Elio’s script and once again sets out on the journey of old. It is the long-awaited road to death he has been waiting to take for ages. His former companions and comrades are long gone, and everything has changed. Mo Xia wants nothing more than to return to the embrace of [Finality]...

Or so it should have been. At the starting point of his journey, a girl wielding a greatsword suddenly fell from the sky. This girl named Li Sushang barged into his world and changed the heart that had remained unchanged for a thousand years.

“Fate is a vast web. No matter how far apart they may be, even two strands can cross paths.”
