As a prince of the realm, the empress's second son and the crown prince's full younger brother, Yun Jingxun should have been cherished. But the crown prince, his own brother, was a fake. To hold on to the throne, the fake crown prince sent assassins after Yun Jingxun, the only person who knew the truth and his greatest rival. After Yun Jingxun made it back alive, his mother, the empress, told him to keep quiet, afraid the throne might pass to someone else. At the same time, she told him to take good care of his real brother, who had endured great hardship after being lost among the common people. Her sons were both dear to her, but I was never their first choice.
Reborn, and facing assassination once more, Yun Jingxun chooses to let his twin brother, the Seventh Prince, disappear forever.
