After Taking a Knife for Him, the Canary Went on a Rampage

In the third year of being kept by a mob boss,

He gave up his criminal life for me and said he wanted to give me a home.

Everyone said that Wei Quan, ruthless as he was, had finally found his redemption.

Then the young singer his first love had pursued died. She came to him in tears to apologize, asking if he still wanted her.

His heart softened, and he said he would give her a wedding.

I became a laughingstock.

Then something went wrong at the wedding, and I took a knife meant for him.

When I woke up, he, usually so cold and indifferent, had bloodshot eyes. Trembling, he tried to comfort me, saying we could have another child.

I cried and fell into depression.

I hated myself for getting pregnant with his child and not having an abortion right away.
