Dreaming into the Morning Light

On March 30, 1940, the puppet regime was officially established in Nanjing. As China's most prosperous city, Shanghai was also forced to be involved in the undercurrent of the three political parties. The three sisters, who should have been carefree and supportive of each other, have taken different tragic paths due to these troubled times. Is it unwillingness, betrayal, unintentional, or intentional? When all the dust settles and the sun rises, who can deny that their struggle in that dark moment was not their effort to catch a glimpse of the morning light?
