My Brother and I Are Mermaids

My brother is a male mermaid.

I'm a female mermaid.

Because we have fish tails, our mother called us disgusting monsters

and abandoned us without a second thought.

Later, after we worked hard and each took three jobs, we became worth hundreds of billions.

Just as we were about to run away, someone showed up at our door. What were we supposed to do?

Facing three domineering CEOs who were closing in on us, my brother and I stumbled backward.

“We can explain!”
