The Mysterious Ancient Tomb: The Curse of Immortality

In the final years of the Ming Dynasty, Jiang Yushi’s mother was abducted by one of Li Zicheng’s subordinates. His father entrusted him to an old Taoist priest to search for her, then never returned. Twenty years later, Jiang Yushi had become a renowned feng shui master in the martial world. Yuan Qingyun, seeking to raise military funds for the cause of restoring the Ming and overthrowing the Qing, kidnapped Jiang Yushi and forced him to rob a tomb. They entered a great Han Dynasty tomb, and when they opened the coffin, they found an incomparable beauty whose body had not decayed. Jiang Yushi accidentally touched a crystal ball, absorbed the woman’s yin energy, and fainted. Thinking he was dead, Yuan Qingyun dumped him into the beauty’s coffin before escaping.

Sixty years later, Jiang Yushi was telling fortunes at a stall in Beijing when he unexpectedly saw Yuan Qingyun again. The two immediately hit it off, and both realized that neither of them had aged, while everyone around them had grown old. Emperor Kangxi, who had only just ascended the throne back then, had long since passed away.

The two lonely men decided to investigate the Han Dynasty tomb once more and uncover the secret behind their agelessness.

When they returned to explore the tomb, they found an ancient book, which revealed the mystery of Jiang Yushi’s origins!
