Winning Over the Fourth Prince, the Consort Finally Stands Tall

[Palace and Household Intrigue + Qing Dynasty Transmigration + Everyday Life + Singular Devotion]

After working herself to death in a modern-day 996 job, Jiang Xingtong opens her eyes to an imperial decree assigning her as a concubine to Fourth Prince Yinzhen.

Jiang Xingtong: ...

The Fourth Princess Consort is comfortably ensconced in her position, his former love Li, the Side Consort, is ahead of her, and his true love, Noble Consort Nian, is behind her. There's also Niu Hulu, who entered the household alongside her, and she's reborn!

Jiang Xingtong: !!!

There's no getting back to the modern world, so she might as well take it easy and aim to live a healthy, long life to the age of ninety-nine! Once Yongzheng takes the throne, a concubine bestowed by the emperor from his former residence should at least be able to attain the rank of Consort, right? The living conditions aren't bad, either.

Who knew the inner household would be full of one scheme after another, forcing Jiang Xingtong to finally stand up for herself? After all, what matters in life is being comfortable and free.

Yinzhen is pleased with how much progress he has made studying Buddhism. Just as he's ready to cultivate his character for a few years and leave Kangxi with the impression of a son devoted to his duties, he hears that two palace ladies have been sent to his residence. His heart remains undisturbed.

Later,

Yinzhen: I can't get enough!
