While out taking part in a club activity, Lin Feng, a freshman in college, was hit by a semi-truck and transmigrated to a world of profound energy. After transmigrating, he gained a younger sister and a strange stone called the Profound Dao Stone.
Just then, the village bully, Lin Batian, was forcing his sister to marry him. Armed with the Profound Dao Stone, Lin Feng set out to rescue her and discovered a world unlike anything he had known.
With the Profound Dao Stone's help, Lin Feng left Lin Family Village, entered the world of cultivation, and made a name for himself across the land.
Thousands of years later, Lin Feng held the Profound Dao Stone and told his descendants, “I owe all my achievements to my own hard work and exceptional talent! You should follow my example and keep your feet on the ground, taking it one step at a time...”
His grandson asked, “Grandpa, what's the Profound Dao Stone?”
Lin Feng replied, “Oh, that's my cheat.”
