What if I wrote an episode of The Great Detective about a case...
So many days have passed, and I’ve seen countless people online speak up for her, continuing to speak up and remember her in all kinds of ways. As a devoted viewer of The Great Detective, and even more as an ordinary person with a sense of justice, this time I wanted to do something different.
It took me almost three weeks to finish. My abilities are limited, and since this is my first time writing, this is all I could manage. I’m not a professional screenwriter or author, just a viewer, so I came up with this little case from a viewer’s perspective. As I wrote, I realized I’d ended up with a whole episode.
I didn’t write the courtroom deliberations, because that isn’t something I’m good at. I also left out all the ads, since the sponsors change every season of The Great Detective.
I happened to be writing this just as the ninth season of The Great Detective wrapped up, and it left me feeling a lot. I don’t want the production team to actually use it, since the subject is rather sensitive. But I hope the next season of The Great Detective will speak up about things like this, as they have always done.
I may not keep writing in the future. This was simply something I felt moved to write.
