This book tells the story of a temple in Jingshan area in western Henan that was massacred by Japanese devils. Meng Daxia, a green forest hero, rescued nun Liu Lianhua from a pile of dead people at night. From then on, the two embarked on the road of anti-Japanese revenge. Later, they were recruited by the detachment of the Eighth Route Army Commander Pi Dingjun, and the two eventually became revolutionary partners.
