I Got a Handover Question Wrong from the Start, and the System Called Me Stupid

[Urban setting + System + miracle doctor + light comedy]

My name is Lin Fan. I'm an utterly ordinary medical resident.

On my first day at work, a medical System moved into my head.

I thought I'd be on my way to the top of the world

But the System thinks I'm stupid, my supervisor thinks I'm useless, and the operating room thinks I'm filthy.

Other people's Systems give them answers.

Mine just yells at me.

Then it plays dead.

Everyone thinks I'm a medical genius.

Only I know it's because I'm too scared not to listen to it.

The craziest part is, whenever it speaks, it's never wrong.

With its help, I uncovered two rare diseases no one had diagnosed in twenty years.

But without it, I mistook constipation for appendicitis.

The moments when the System says nothing are when I'm most panicked.

Now it's sent me just eight words again.

Then it fell silent.

I sat in front of the computer, too afraid to press Print.

Because I can't afford to gamble.

If I lose, someone could die.
