[Reborn + dating show + sweet romance and a devoted pursuit + heiress swap]
In her previous life, Li Zhi was set up by a fake heiress, who ruined her reputation and disfigured her. She became a total has-been and was driven to her death by online haters, falling from a rooftop.
Reborn three years earlier, she refuses to submit to unwritten rules, sends the corrupt doctor to prison, kicks the fake heiress out, and clings tight to her wealthy dad and three handsome brothers.
Back in show business, her goal is to become a top-tier star.
Her former desk mate transforms into an all-around top-tier star, excelling at both singing and acting before making the leap to directing and becoming a powerhouse in her own right.
On the dating show, Shen Que has been plotting his approach for ages. He keeps drawing near, showing his affection and favor, flirting openly and subtly.
Li Zhi wears a bright red dress, stands with her feet turned out, and hauls a suitcase. She shoves a wealthy heiress with a million followers into the water, sends a dog after an international music prodigy, and plucks hairs from the legs of an aloof band frontman...
She lets loose, talks back to everyone, and even bosses around the top-tier star. She thinks the whole internet will hate her and demand she leave show business, but instead everyone is shouting, “Fly fearlessly, Sister Li! Guoguo will always be with you!”
Li Zhi becomes a sensation. TV and film projects, variety shows, ad endorsements, and magazines all come calling: “Please give us a chance, Sister Li!”
The “Zhique” ship takes off, and every day netizens clamor, “This ship is killing me! The top-tier star is so in love with her! The sweet moments are off the charts! The whole internet is waiting for them to make it official!”
They meet at the top. Their film wins an international award, and as Shen Que holds the Best Director trophy, he drops his cool, composed act in front of a global audience and begs to be taken in:
“Little Li Zhi, the whole world knows I love you. You have to take responsibility for me. Hurry up and marry me!”
On camera, Li Zhi covers her flushed face. Amid thunderous applause, she posts: [Li Zhi V: Yes, I do.]
I've owed you this answer for so long. The truth is, I've wanted to tell you for ages.
