This book is one of our publisher's "University Classics" series. It is based on ancient annotated editions of ancient writings and was compiled by Mr. Cao Xu, an expert on "Shi Pin", with an introduction and commentary. There are many fine meanings in the textual research and interpretation of ancient Zhijian, and they have been well received after publication. The omissions and errors will be identified by the compiler in the introduction or notes. For the purpose of correction, the editor's corrected version of "Shipin" is included in the appendix at the end of the book. This is a collection of the collation results of several generations of researchers over the past eighty years, for readers to use when reading and citing.
