The heroine, Xiao Yi, is a quirky young woman with all sorts of strange ideas. She loves comics, but she isn’t very ambitious. So she remains an utterly ordinary comic artist, making just enough from her “meager” income to support herself. Then, one night at three in the morning, her company pressures her to meet a deadline, forcing her to stay up late drawing. Thunder rumbles and lightning flashes.
