I especially like the description of the house purchase process in the Song Dynasty. It feels very real. Moreover, the characters in the book are also very vivid, such as Lu Zhixian and Shi Miyuan, which allowed me to see the complexity of ancient officialdom. All in all, this is an interesting and informative book, highly recommended!
