The novel is adapted from a true story. The protagonist Mu Yang failed to start a business, was heavily in debt, and was separated from his family. He could only escape to the countryside of Beijing to live a meager life, but insisted on rescuing stray cats. Unexpectedly, the gears of his destiny changed. He not only got the chance to make a comeback, but also gained the sublimation of emotion and wisdom.

The writing is vivid and touching. I have read the whole collection. Mu Yang's life has ups and downs. Even when people are in a downturn, they still maintain a kind heart. When we encounter difficulties and are depressed, we must be as kind, optimistic and brave as Mu Yang and face it all the way.
I am the author myself, so giving five stars is the most natural thing. But apart from this, I do think that "Forest of Benevolence" lives up to its name and is well written!
