She Was Trapped in the Abyss, and the Sun Came to Save Her

[Mutual First Love + Sweet Romance + Love at First Sight + Healing + Everyday Life] Shen Xin decided to follow her late grandmother’s instructions and move into the house in her grandmother’s hometown. So she came here, hoping to make herself a cozy little home. On her very first day, she met the man who was going to help her build it. He looks fierce, but he’s really just an shameless dog of a man. Gu Chen thinks this girl is covered in thorns, but why does he still shamelessly want to get pricked by them? -- Shen Xin thinks she should never have been born. Ever since she was little, she was taught that she had to be better than everyone else. The people closest to her became the blades that hurt her most. She hated the world, and ever since she was thirteen, she had been thinking about how to leave it. But it seemed even Heaven didn’t want to take her. Her grandmother left her a letter. Her final wish was to give Shen Xin the house in her hometown, hoping she would live well. Since that was what her grandmother wanted, Shen Xin couldn’t let her down. But why was there such a dog of a man here? She’d told him again and again that they weren’t right for each other, yet he kept shamelessly sticking to her. Gu Chen had always had an easy life. His family was harmonious, his parents loved each other, his family ran a business, and he had a group of like-minded childhood friends. It wasn’t until he met that girl covered in scars that he realized not everyone had it as good as he did. Gu Chen fell for her at first sight. Once he learned what she’d been through, how could he not feel for her? If she was a poor little thing with no one to love her, he’d spoil her rotten and turn her into a happy little girl. Shen Xin later told him that Gu Chen was like the sun, and that he had saved her. Not a strong female lead. She’s a little clingy and mischievous. Very sweet.
