When I Was Murdered, Dad Was Still with the Killer’s Daughter

The day I was kidnapped and tortured by human traffickers, Dad was accompanying one of their daughters to a prenatal checkup.

I begged him for help, but he said, “It’d be best if they killed you! You’re a curse! Killing your mother wasn’t enough, now you’ve made Shengsheng miscarry! Go die somewhere else!”

That night, Dad was urgently called back by the TV station to report on the most horrific murder in the city in ten years.

He wept on camera as he condemned the killer, but he didn’t recognize the victim: the daughter he hated most.
