Misty Mountains Afar

[This story is abandoned!

The main story is complete, but the channel for posting updates was closed before the extras could be added. Many endings were never properly explained. So if that bothers you, please think carefully before diving in!]

From the start, Fang Yingshuang was dead. But after dying, she actually transmigrated to a magical world.

To make matters worse, she transmigrated into the body of a pitiful child whose mother had died young and whose father had died without even being buried.

Because she was a girl, the original owner had lived worse than a beggar on the street.

Then the original owner was beaten to death by her brother. That's how she, Fang Yingshuang, ended up here!

Flip the table!

There's no way I can keep living like this!

While the Fang family was away, Fang Yingshuang decisively ransacked their home, took all their valuables, set the whole wretched place on fire, changed her identity, and left for a faraway land.

With a special space at her disposal, she managed to live fairly well. But what if the space disappeared? She couldn't afford to take that gamble.

It's better to have something of your own than to rely on your parents. Wouldn't powerful magic let her protect herself better?

And the historical moment she'd arrived in was one of a fallen nation and a ruined homeland!

Later, to stay alive and cultivate magic, she had no choice but to embark on a thorny path through life.

Later still, her original purpose quietly changed. She met so many people... She and her companions struggled, suffered, felt lost, despaired, and grieved... but they never once considered giving in!

Step by step, she pressed onward and never turned back.

The truth was, she didn't like this path.

But she had no choice but to walk it.

She wasn't sure whether she represented the light.

But she had to shatter the darkness and tear open that terrifying veil...

All so she could live a little better, and create a prosperous age unlike any other.
