You Asked Me to Be a Lawyer, but I Became a Ruthless One

Cheng Lin had been nothing but mediocre, yet after waking up one day, he became a celebrated lawyer known to everyone, a hot-tempered legal bruiser. After his internship ended, Cheng Lin should not have been taking cases so soon, given his lack of experience. But when a schemer tried to frame him, he had no choice but to send the opposing lawyer and judge to prison, shocking the entire country. Defense lawyer: My client was just drunk. There was no rape. Defendant: That's right, I didn't do it on purpose. He pointed at Cheng Lin. Your Honor, I want to sue the plaintiff's lawyer. He hit me earlier. Cheng Lin stepped forward and grabbed his own client's collar. “That's nonsense! Your Honor, our side demands that the defendant be executed immediately.” Defendant: … Cheng Lin: We demand that the defense lawyer's license be revoked, that they be sentenced to five to ten years in prison, and that they be fined. Judge: Do you even see me sitting here? You're getting a little too big for your boots. Why don't you become the judge? Cheng Lin: The judge is sentenced to three to ten years in prison, stripped of all political rights for life, and fined. Judge: Move aside. I can't take this anymore. The entire jury was dumbfounded by Cheng Lin's outrageous tactics. Was this guy really a lawyer? “A legal bruiser, sure, but I love how satisfying his moves are.” “I need to redefine my standards for a dream man.” Netizens: I feel like I somehow got sentenced too.
