Siheyuan: Good Deeds Start With Beating Bang Geng

Cao Jianchuan accidentally transmigrates to the 1960s and becomes a resident of the legendary “Beasts-Fill-the-Siheyuan” courtyard.

At first, Cao Jianchuan plans to use his knowledge of the plot to have a good battle of wits with the beasts in the courtyard. But then, to his surprise, he suddenly awakens a System for doing good deeds.

Doing good deeds in “Beasts-Fill-the-Siheyuan”? Won't he end up like Silly Zhu?

But before long, Cao Jianchuan discovers that the System's idea of doing good deeds differs just a little from his own.

Bang Geng insults me? Cao Jianchuan grabs him and gives him a sound beating!

The System responds: [Helping a busy neighbor discipline a disobedient child]

He catches First Master secretly helping a widow in the middle of the night, so Cao Jianchuan calls everyone in the courtyard over to watch.

The System responds: [Helping a neighbor publicize a good deed]

That counts as doing good deeds too? Then if he helps Qin Huairu separate from the Jia family, does that count as helping her escape Jia Zhangshi's exploitation and free herself from a life of misery?

And so Cao Jianchuan carves out an unconventional path of good deeds!
