Oh, Love!

Among the Four Great Troublemakers of the Brilliant Academy, Jia Baili is known as the “jinx” and the “harbinger of doom.” She is the unluckiest person alive: anyone who comes within three feet of her is infected by bad luck. Misfortune has dogged her since birth. Her mother nearly died in childbirth; the doctor who delivered her broke a leg; the nurse who first held her learned the night before her wedding that her fiancé had run away. Then a fire broke out at the hospital, causing heavy casualties and forcing it to close. And that was only the beginning… Ever since the jinx Jia Baili arrived at Brilliant Academy, her “jinx” powers have been unstoppable. Her classmates and every teacher seem to run into bizarre misfortunes almost every day. Some are major, like the whole class scoring zero in a competition or everyone getting caught cheating by the exam proctor. Others are minor, like biting their tongues while eating or choking on milk through their noses. The mishaps are endless: you can think of anything, and someone will suffer it. The academy’s sunny prince, Shang Chuige, resolves to drive this ill-fated troublemaker out of Brilliant Academy… He has always had smooth sailing and shines wherever the sun does. Can he withstand the overwhelming power of the “Star of Calamity”?
