Who’s the Maddest King of Them All? I’m Top of the Class at the Asylum

[Goofy humor + unhinged antics + sweet romance + complete nonsense]

She had barely transmigrated into a book when a scumbag sent her to a psychiatric hospital.

Tong Ye: Whatever. Since I transmigrated, I might as well go crazy.

She never dared let loose while alive, and now she works in the underworld after death.

So one second, she beats up her cheating ex, and the next, she slaps the face of a scheming heiress.

-

It’s only after entering the psychiatric hospital that she discovers there’s much more to the place than meets the eye.

When a bully frames her, Tong Ye transforms into Matron Rong on the spot.

When an orderly comes looking for trouble, Tong Ye serves them with a plunger.

When her boss tries to fire her, she turns around and threatens to jump off the building.

Boss: “Get her examined! She must be examined!”

Doctor: “Confirmed. Tong Ye has a mental illness.”

-

Later, Tong Ye opens a one-stop funeral service at the hospital.

Later still, thanks to her sheer craziness, she rises to become the hospital director.

-

There is a mysterious man in the psychiatric hospital.

With his rambling state of mind and his fearsome one-handed special skill,

he becomes a legend around the hospital.

He grows curious, draws close, and falls for her.

-

One day,

someone reports, “President, that woman’s cheating on you!”

The man’s eyes darken slightly. “That hat belongs to me!”

“...”

As expected, a Mad King is made for a Mad Queen.

[Curiosity brought them together; their souls made them stay.]
